Markting FAQ is an ongoing “collaborative project” (rather than just a blog) started with the objective of creating a comprehensive collection of marketing questions, concepts, ad campaigns, brand cases, how-to guides and marketing stories. It is the collective effort of a handful of passionate marketing professionals and bloggers and contributors from all over the globe. Over the next months and years we will add hundreds and thousands of posts, get marketing experts to explain concepts and write for our blog, create and maintain a thriving forum for marketing discussion with the goal of creating a thriving community of marketing professionals.

Shiv Kumar Pandey

Shiv is a passionate marketer, entrepreneur and writer who believes in creating new things as a way of life and is a collector of insightful ideas. A movie addict and a hopeless day dreamer, he runs a design and advertising start up called Gracia Marcom, in Ahmedabad, India. Legend has it that he fell in love with marketing years ago after reading the authoritative book on the subject by the great Philip Kotler. Though he has long since forgotten Kotler’s postulations and has moved on to bigger and better ideas, he still credits Kotler for generating the initial spark, and for coercing him to do a post graduate business program in marketing.

Arvind Ravikumar

Arvind, is a very dynamic and vibrant person who believes that “Marketing is a function, inherent in every human being.” Bitten by the blogging bug, and in search of ideas, he bumped into the idea of creating an online resource base for marketing students and professionals, and decided to collaborate with Shiv on the project.

A post graduate in Retail Management, he has worked with retail companies like Shoppers Stop and Spar, before venturing out on his own, and now is a successful entrepreneur running a manufacturing business based in Chennai, India.
